Can anyone help me with overclocking RX480??.I have few question.
1>What does power limit do?
2>What does GPU Voltage mean?

I have got max 1380 mhz with 2050mhz(Memory) stable clock on nitro rx 480 without any change to powerlimit and GPU voltage. Is there anything iam missing.I want the card to reach at least 1400 mhz with 2150mhz memory clock speed.

I know The card is not much of an overclocker but i think i can reach the 1400mhz with 2150mhz at max

Uh oh. I think there's a lot you should learn before you move onto more advanced overclocking.

TDP is the amount of heat being generated by a component, which is usually and indicator of how efficient or inefficient something is. The higher the TDP, the hotter a component is. It is not always relative to power draw or voltage.

There's no point in increasing the card's GPU voltage if you can't get over 50% power limit, let alone 110-120%. Definitely max it out. You only need to feed a GPU more voltage if your overclock is unstable with a maxed out power limit and temp target. With a power limit of 50%, you're definitely not even using the maximum stock voltage. Raising it won't do anything at all.

TL;DR Don't touch voltage unless you...

Power limit increases, well, the bios target limit of how much power the GPU will allow itself to use before it throttles itself to match that target. GPU voltage means how much voltage your GPU is going to ask for from your power supply. Both terms are pretty self-explanatory.

Max out that power limit slider. If your power supply is decent, there is never a reason not to. Explanation here.

So if i increase the power limit i need to increase the GPU voltage as well.

Hmmm...So GPU voltage increase the total TDP of the card while the power limit limits how much power it is allowed to use from the TDP set by GPU Voltage.
I can go at max 50% power limit.Should i do it??.Also should i increase the card's GPU voltage?

TL;DR Don't touch voltage unless you know exactly what it'll do to your computer in great detail. All the other stuff? Sure.

Thank you for your help. This is my first Graphics card so was unsure about few terms.Thank you again for your help :D.
