Need help finding Windows 7 drivers.

Hello, I have an HP 15-f009wm notebook laptop, and recently I downgraded from my free copy of Windows 10 to the older Windows 7 Home Premium. But, my computer came with Windows 8.1 and never had 7 so it does not have working drivers on it. How can I get the proper Ethernet Controller and SMbus Controller drivers, so that I may access the network on my laptop?

You might try downloading the 8.1 drivers and installing them in compatibility mode for Windows 7, but I'm not sure this will work. There may simply not be drivers for your hardware and Windows 7 since it wasn't supported from the factory. Another option would be to identify the individual components (controllers in your case) and go to that manufacturers website to see if a generic driver is available. For example, say you have a Silicon Labs Ethernet controller, you might go directly to their website and search for the driver of your particular model controller.
