The issue I'm having is a crackling/popping sound coming from the TV speakers. I have it connected to my GTX 970 via HDMI. Here's what I've tried so far. I switched HDMI cables, I tried switching the input on the TV, and I've also tried just having the TV plugged in, and everything else disconnected. Thinking maybe it was interference, but that didn't solve anything either. I tried having the HDMI cable stretched all the way out, but that didn't help.

My videodrivers are up to date as well.

At this point I'm at a lose, of what to do/try.

Solution
I figured out what my problem was.

I first tested it by just having my T.V. as my default audio device. I noticed that when I played games the sound was fine, and then something clicked. The sound was only popping and crackling when I was using VLC, and having the sound goto my T.V. speakers instead, of my main speakers.

Turns out I just had to disable using float32 output. On both Output modules which are DirectX, and WaveOut.
