Selling laptop need suggestion

Hello, I have a asus 751 rog laptop, bought it exactly one year ago, I want to sell it for 1000 $ but I bought it for 1400, it has a warranty for life on it im fairly certain, but I can initiate one if not, how much should I sell it for ?

it is in great condition, used for gaming only, no scuffs or damage marks, just needs cleaned.

and my second question is, if i buy the new line of laptop with the 1080 gtx in it, how much performance gain am i looking at here ?

Note though, a $1,400 purchase price has very little bearing on a selling price.
Given a new generation of GPUs (and potentially CPUs depending on your spec) has passed, makes your laptop 'used' a less appealing option.

Without knowing the spec, it's impossible to give you an idea of a selling price - other than to assume the worst-case scenario.
