I'm running windows 10 64bit 8gbHDD 1TB space, today I noticed my C drive just filling up randomly it happened so quick that it filled up 40 GB in less than an hour, my main concern is could it be a virus? It happened a few minuted after I downloaded and ran an unknown software, it was a game setup but i knew there was something wrong with it so I stopped it during mid installation and deleted the program. I was also torrenting a few files over 30gb but they havent passed 2% so I'm sure its not those files, I also cancelled those torrents when my drive started to lose space rapidly. My C drive went from 42GB free space to less than 4GB, I ran disk cleanup, deleted the previous restore settings (I can tell therewas noting wrong with it however I did those) My C drive is currently sitting at 15gb free space hasn't increased or decreased for about an hour, now is there any way I can get my lost space back I dunno how this can happen
