Lately, for unknown reasons, when I play a commercial CD on my Windows Media Player 12 (Wiindows 8.1, 64-bit), during play it says at the top left corner "Unknown album" for album title, and "Unknown artist" and date and time will appear in the box. When I add the album to the Library the album is listed as "Unknown" and no album title, song titles, artists, playing time are included.
This problem started a short while ago when I had only 5 or 6 CDs in the library which included all of the data so there was no overloading. One of those CDs when played still shows and includes the data.
And then you get a box with a link to learn how to add the data but the link provides a page that says that there is no such information.
Can I remove WMP12 and re-load it?
