Hello guys,

A few days ago like a week more or less, my computer started to work slow or VERY slow sometimes.

To be the most accurate explaining the trouble I'll tell when these problems show up.

*Starting up the computer, 7/10 times I did it the computer takes several minutes to start running the OS and programs such Google Chrome or even use the explorer bar right after the desktop show up. Also sometimes even the desktop takes too long to show up and only watching "Starting..." in the screen.
*Today the computer won't respond when I moved the mouse when I wanted to go out the screensaver...

I'm wondering why this is happening, a few months ago I changed the thermal paste because temperature problems in the CPU, so that shouldn't be the problem... I'm thinking in my HDD maybe, but I don't know how to find the problem to solve it...

The Hardware:

MB: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z.
CPU: AMD FX-6300.
GPU: AMD Radeon Sapphire HD 7950 Boost Edition.
RAM: G-Skill 2x4 Gb 1600 Mhz.
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1Tb.
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M 700W.

My OS is Windows 7.

Just in case, I'll leave a screenshot with temperatures.

In advance, thanks a lot to all of you for your time reading my problem.

EDIT: Sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

Hey there, Damian.

Unfortunately it sounds like it could be a drive issue. :(

The temperatures don't seem to have anything to do with it in this case. Especially having in mind that when you cold boot the computer you still have the same problem (at least from what I understand).

I'd strongly suggest that you backup your important data, just to be on the safe side. After that go ahead and try the drive with a different SATA port and different SATA cables, to see if anything changes. Other than that, you should download DLG (Data Lifeguard) and run both tests (Quick and Extended), to see if anything alarming shows up.

Hope that helps. Please keep me posted.
