Hi folks,

So I've finally gathered all the components of my next machine, but after assembling all of it I've run into some issues.

Original issue was no output to my monitor, but realized after a bit of troubleshooting that I had a debug LED on for my CPU. Checked the meaning: CPU is not detected or fail. Naturally, I checked that all my power connections were firmly seated (CPU power, 2x4 pin, and 24 pin main mobo power), but no luck. I have tried swapping cables.

I checked to see if maybe I didn't set the CPU in the socket quite right, but it was in correctly and I couldn't identify any bent pins. Here's a couple photos in case someone has better eyes for it than I do:

I've taken everything out of the case and rebuilt with just CPU and 1 stick of RAM. Plugged in the appropriate power cables to mobo and CPU but it still has the same issue. Haven't tried moving the RAM around since it seems to be more of a CPU issue.

Any help or insights would be much appreciated.

Specs:
MOBO: MSI X99A Titanium 2011v3
CPU: Intel i7-6800K 2011v3
CPU Fan: Noctua NH-L12
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1080 SeaHawk X
RAM: 2x8 GB G.Skills Ripjaws V Series DDR4 2400
SSD: Samsung 950 Pro M.2
PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G2
Case: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540

Make sure that your thermal paste did not get to areas around the CPU. If that's not an issue, the only thing I can recommend for sure is to try this CPU on a different board - I know that there aren't many, but it would help a lot. A different PSU might also be used for test, although this particular EVGA is superb in every aspect, but you never know.
