Basically, whenever I play a game, my computer would restart. I went to a repair shop and the technician suspected that the MOBO is the problem. However could there be another possible causes? To add, the temperatures are fine.

Specs

MOBO: Gigabyte H81M-DS2
CPU: i5 4460
OS: Windows 8.1
RAM: Kingston 8GB RAM
GPU: GTX 750TI 2GB
PSU: Cooler Master B500

Solution
Actually, you know what, remove the graphics card and run the onboard graphics that CPU has onboard graphics. Try running a game off it and see if it restarts.

It sounds like it may be a problem with either the power supply not being up to par even tho it should support 500WATT... Or you GPU is defective.

There is no reason to point to the motherboard since it's a graphically related problem. In fact run some benchmark tests like on the CPU only then on the GPU if it crashes on the GPU only then you know it's a GPU or power supply issue.

I would also suggest downloading a utility to check your CPU and GPU temperatures.

It's possible that your CPU heatsink is not installed properly or thermal paste didn't spread evenly - If the CPU is getting to hot, the system may be shutting down/restarting to avoid damage to the system -this is a normal fail-safe on most mobos/CPUs.

I agree, try onboard gfx as kfarris suggested
