I have a Corsair Spec 1 Red Mid tower with 2 airflow corsair fans in exhaust config pushing air out of the back of the case. And 1 Corsair airflow fan in the front panel pulling air.

My cpu temps IDLE are 33°-39° and room temp is about 27-30°. I have a M9i Cryorig Heatsink with the exhaust fan pushing air into the 2 exhaust case fans. Is there a way to lower my temps even with a pretty warm room.

I plan on buying an AC as living in CA right now requires it to live comfortably. I was curious as to if that will lower my temps in the process. Also if adding another fan onto my heatsink so one is pushing air and the other pulling air will also drop my temps a bit. Thanks for any and all responses, and have a great day.

My Rig:

  • -Corsair Spec 1 Red Mid Tower
    -MSI Gaming 5 z97 MOBO
-Cryorig M9i CPU cooler (1 fan has the option to mount a 2nd)
    -i7 -4790k @Stock Clock
    -GTX 970 SC ACX
    -16GB PNY DDR3 1600mhz
    -500gb SAMSUNG EVO SSD
    -1tb WD Blue
    -600w Bronze EVGA PSU

Check your Vcore voltage for the CPU under load a bunch of boards give to much voltage to that processor under load.
My 4790K with my board defaulted to 1.27 volts at stock speed when 1.20 will usally work.
Those chips are also hot running might consider changing to the Cryorig H7.
What software you rendering with?

The temps are good, considering it is at max load. I hit 85c while rendering with Sony Movie Studio Platinum (1440p 60fps content). Really the only way to lower them more is maybe try and undervolt the CPU or invest in a good water cooling setup or some form of exotic cooling (something like this perhaps http://www.anandtech.com/show/10695/the-phononic-hex-2-0-tec-cpu-cooler-review - depending on ambient temps condensation could be an issue though).

I am currently using Sony Vegas Pro 13 1080p 60FPS but plan to move to Adobe Premiere. I play Arma 3 as well which is a CPU intensive game but my max is usually 70-77°.
