How often to perform Maintenance Procedures, and the risks associated with neglect

Hi :D

Please discuss the risks associated with neglecting each of the following, and how often you think each of these maintenance procedures should be performed on a company server which deals with around 100 clients logins&data daily.

- Refreshing Archives Backup
- Scan Registry
- Clean Temporary Files
- Thorough system clean

One main and most important thing: Continuous backup to multiple devices. Rest would depend on OS and it's automatic maintenance settings. Windows Enterprise or Server versions are quite good at keeping everything in good shape so only in case of noticeable slowdown or errors you may need to do it manually.
