Trying to find out how I can remove the bluetooth from my netbook. I've tried uninstalling the software, but every time I reconnect to a network it automatically reinstalls the drivers. Anyone with some computer savvy know how to remove the actual Bluetooth® 4.0 adapter from my motherboard?

I'm using a Lenovo Netbook and I know how to remove the wifi adapter but really I just don't know what the physical bluetooth hardware looks like on my motherboard or where it is located to remove it.

Thanks

If it is disabled in device manager then I would suggest that you are OK. If you really think that windows is that compromised that you can't trust that something is disabled and not accessible then I'd stop using it.

What 'serious security issues' are you talking about?

I have it disabled now. It's just really annoying that every time I uninstall it, it just automatically reinstalls. I am definitely looking to remove both it and the wifi permanently, due to having serious security issues. As far as I'm aware, simply disabling it isn't secure enough if my laptop and/or network is already compromised.
