Please help people.

I purchased an intel 600p ssd and as my motherboard (Z97 pc mate) does not have a m 2 slot, I also purchased a m 2 to pcie 3 x 4 adapter. I placed it into the pcie slot and the bios recognized it and so did windows and the intel ssd toolbox. When I try to use the intel migration tool to clone the Hard drive it tells me that there is no intel ssd present. I also had a sata intel 320 ssd that i used the migration software on to clone my HDD..that worked without a problem, and I was using the 320 ssd as my boot disk. When the 320 is in my system the migration software does recognize the 600p, but when I tried to clone the 320 to the 600p I got a MBR error and bootmngr error. Booted again from the old hdd and now the 320 ssd is no longer able to boot or clone. I removed the 320 and tried to clone from the ssd, but the software does not see any intel ssd.

I have been working on this for 8 hours now, so I could really use some help. I am not very tech savvy and am just winging it.
