I have an i5 4690k

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KPRWB9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and a Corsair RM650X
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015PWMT8S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and I'm looking to get this GPU

I'm not doing any overclocking on any of my parts, I have 8 GB RAM, 1 250GB SSD and 2 1TB 7200 RPM HDDs, my motherboard is an ASUS Z97-K if that helps

Am I pushing it too far? I've read that a 650 PSU should be fine but it's near the upper limit and I haven't seen any posts about my particular PSU

Yeah! and if your not overclocking anything even something like 550w should be enough but i would go with RM650X you might need that in the future ;)

Thanks, I recently upped the some parts of my comp (including the PSU) so I chose the 650 for future proofing lol

Why would the description of the card say 750W if it doesn't require the system to be able to supply it?

Don't use Cooler Master's bad calculator (or any). His 390X system under load should be around 375W. Even an RM550x is perfectly fine.

@Adam: and how would the GPU description know his system specs? You don't think the GPU is the only thing that requires power, do you? ;)

Of course not but when you are in the business of upgrading just one part it should tell you how much that thing in particular needs. If it tells you 750W when you don't actually need that much isn't it guessing in the first place?
