Hello, everyone!

I recently bought & installed NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB dual OC (Asus) to replace my old GTX 670; 2GB (MSI).

However, after the upgrade, my "Speccy" report says my installed graphics memory is only 2047 MB. What happened to the other 4 GB memory?

My motherboard MSI Z77A-G43 (MS-7758) (SOCKET 0),cpu Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz, while I have 16GB ddr3 ram, 2 units of 1 terrabyte WD harddrives.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Its possible that the software is not reading the card and just producing a cached memory value.
Try going to:
"NVIDIA Control Panel" --> "System Information" --> "Help" --> "Display" --> "Dedicated video memory" (might be a slightly different path now its been a while since i owned an NVIDIA card)
