My linksys kvm switch can't detect my keyboard or mouse, both are usb using ps2 converters, the old ones work fine though?

Solution
The "old ones" being a PS2 plugged (versus USB) keyboard and mouse or another set of USB/PS2 converters?

If neither side of the KVM switch is working try this:

First make sure that the keyboard and mouse are working directly via USB.

Plug the keyboard and mouse directly into one of the computers using the USB/ps2 converters. Do the same on the other computer as well.

See if the converters are the problem.
