Help can't remove the push pins from the motherboard

Hello everyone,

Recently I purchased an Arctic Freezer 11LP cooler for my CPU and today I wanted to install it but it's too big and my RAM gets in the way :( .

But now I just can't take out those annoying push pins from back of my motherboard. I've tried with pliers but they are so slippy and I'm scared I will damage my motherboard. Pulling them out with pliers from the CPU side also doesn't work as they sit so tight. Do you have any ideas what I can do? Help is much appreciated I can't even put back my intel stock cooler and I'm my PC just sits there opened. Push Pins are shown from the both sides on the pictures below.

Solution
Not sure if it will work in your case, but I use the tube from a ball point pen.
Pull the ink out and push the remaining pen on the plastic support - it will push the two clip edges in
