i am buying Asus Strix GTX 1070.
But there are two versions/Models of the card.
1. OC Model having Boost clock of 1860Mhz'
2. Non OC Model having boost clock of 1506Mhz.
what is the difference ? i am upgrading from GTX 750ti ...
Gpu boost is pretty much auto overcloking, the gpu notices its power limit and thermal limit are well below the max so it says hey why not overclock myself to add a bit more performance. Those boost clock are what you might get a lot of times its higher than what the vendor says, the non OC card I can almost guarantee will boost a lot higher than 1506mhz and the OC card may even go beyond 1860mhz.

max boost clock is the max frequency the card will run at under nominal heat/power conditions. so if they card isn't overheating and gets good clean power from your power supply it will run at the frequency on the box. either way you can overclock the card to whatever you want within reasonable limits so i tend not to really get too hung up on what the box says the overclock is.
will the base clock model 1506Mhz will work for me ?? i m not using a overclock cpu.

Yes, like said above, the "1506" model will perform prettyu much the same as the more expensive one.
