Win 10 is a mind of it's own. Stay win 7 and you will not have to go through the bug fixing process. I would not install it a gain as it will wipe some imortant things /programs you need . Such as your Microsoft acct. And then you have to dig thru registry as they hide your acct.# there but not under the microsoft acct name. Gives you a 30 day trial to try and figure out your acct# which is a lot of time worn off your pc .

Not sure what you are saying here, yes Windows 10 may change settings on you and some programs won't work properly, especially older ones. Not sure what you are talking about the Microsoft account, seeing how Windows 10 actually uses that as the logon to the computer, it would not wipe it, you just need...
No it doesn't have a mind of its own.

Who would think installing an entirely new operating system would be error free?
Who wouldn't back up or make sure software is in order?
Who doesn't keep proper copies of their CD Keys and digital purchases?

Windows 10 is hands down one of the best operating systems released. Windows 7 is like 8 years old. It is very out of date, doesn't even support a number of new technologies.

Unless you happened to forget what that was, but that is not the fault of Windows.

I'm all for Windows 7 use over 10 (at least till there is a lack of support for newer hardware and software on it) but issues you have with Windows 10 are at least half caused by not being careful with things. Like the people that made Windows 10 setup media and wiped their drives with files on it because they did not read the "this will wipe your files" warning.
