I have got around £70 to spare on computer parts. I want to buy one or two new components just so i can relive the experience of building/installing PC. Here are my current specs:

MSI 970-A G43 Motherboard.
2x4GB DDR3 HyperX Fury Black 1866mhz RAM.
Gigabyte Windforce OC Edition GTX 950 GPU.
AMD FX-6300 Processor (Not Overclocked).
Corsair CX-500M Power Supply.
1TB WD BLUE Hard Drive.
240GB Kingston SSD.
Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU COOLER.
2x Corsair AF120 Fans.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The 1060 will be bottlenecked but you will get some gains over the GTX 950 anyway not only that but it will give you time to wait and save for either Kaby Lake or Zen both of which are meant to be arriving late this year. You might even get a GTX 1060 and be happy with the performance although I doubt it.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention, around christmas time, im going to upgrade my motherboard, gpu and cpu. I dont really want to spend that amount of money on a PSU that might not be powerful enough to handle my future upgrades. Thanks for the idea though!

I'd just keep the money don't worry about upgrading the PSU it will be fine. When you upgrade some other parts I'd suggest changing it out though. When upgrade time comes I'd get a new GPU first then consider doing the CPU/Mobo/RAM.

Ok, thanks for the reply.

One thing, if i want to change to intel, should i get the cpu and mobo before the gpu? Im not sure if the 1060 will be bottlenecked by my current cpu.
