hey everyone. i just bought a new computer. i didn't get a new hard drive. basically i have an ssd of 240 gb and a regular drive of 500gb, and i have my windows 10 installed on the ssd. some of the software i have is installed on the ssd and some on the other hard drive. my question is, can i put them both in the new computer without the need to format either of them? i want the same windows 10 with all of the files on the new computer.
thanks!!

Any plain old data, pictures, documents, music and videos etc can be left alone. Most software will need to be reinstalled, exceptions to this may include games that use a standalone launcher such as Blizzard stuff and FF14 that I know of for sure. Most software has many settings in the registry that will be destroyed when you reinstall Windows, they will not function after.

(edit) Steam stuff might work, never tried.
Your windows licence is tied to your old man board so you will need to purchase a new licence either way. In addition I always recommend a fresh install with a new mainboard. Forcing windows to reinstall new drivers for every single device is just asking for problems, either right away or further down the road. I realize that many do advocate doing this but I've personally cleaned up the quivering mess on several machines that people tried this on, so I cannot recommend it. As to my first point you will have to buy a new copy anyways.
