So, have a Sabertooth X79 mobo, Windows 7, 512 GB SSD(SiliconPower).

PC goes to sleep and when resuming the POST doesn't show a hard drive. If I reboot it shows and boots. From sleep I get one of the OS not found type messages.

BIOS is upgraded to latest version. Haven't tried a different SATA port on the board...not sure if that's worth a shot.

Anyone ever ran into this?

Solution
Sounds like it's either a bad SATA cable, SATA port is dying on the motherboard, or the hard drive is losing power so try a different SATA cable??

Switch the 2 hard drive positions around in the case cable for cable SATA for SATA and see if it makes the same result. Lol, well if it does your OS will well you know. :p

If we can't get this issue resolved your next best option is to simply disable sleep mode in windows... And just shut it down when you want to.
