Hi!

I have an AsRock 970 Extreme 3 R2.0 MoBo. My system is hangs on me randomly a few times a day or 2-3 days of good work and then again. I have a discussion in the Windows 8 section, but there is no solution since. I've got a test GPU and since i use it the system isn't hang but my browser is lagging when i watch YT, or listen music on Spotify. And it laggs pretty much everywhere in the browser.
My question is that can i use the second GPU slot for my GTX 970? My main problem is (i think) is that the north bridge of the MoBo is overheating and heating the GPU, because they are to close to each oder. When i had my old cpu fan (stock) the air whent directly to the north bridge. I have this issue since i've changed the fan. but this is just a guess. and i don't have the space in the case for another fan to cool that part down. So i think that if the GPU is not to close to the NB than it may not overheat soo much. Because i fear that the too much heat damaged the GPU and tha MoBo already. But i can't test this because the test GPU that i have is a piece of crap, and i don't want to ruin the GTX.

Here is my other discussion about my test if it helps.

Thank you!
