When logging to routerlogin.com I see the setting for my Netgear modem with a built in wifi, but I need to connect to the settings for separate wifi router that is connected to the Netgear modem with built-in Wi-Fi.
You could try turning off the modem entirely.
go to put 192.168.1.1 into your address bar. connect to the router. Make sure the router has been reset to factory default settings (red reset button). The default password and username are typically: "admin" and "password".
Thank you for your suggestion, I've tried but I still see the setting for the modem with built-in Wi-Fi (Netgear C300) and not the stand alone Wi-Fi router (Netgear R6400)

Is the second router configured as an access point or a router or you don't know? How is the second router connected to the primary, wired or wireless? If wired, which port did you use on the second router, LAN or WAN?
