Computer won't load windows screen.

Hey, I been using my new computer for about 2 months, and no problems what so ever. I turn it off every night. 2 days ago, i tried turning it on and the GIGABYTE BIOS SPLASH SCREEN started up normally. After that it takes me to a dark blue screen. I kept it on for a day a nothing happened. Also, for some reason my keyboard doesn't turn on until windows is fully loaded, so i can't go into bios. I have tried placing the motherboard installation disc in there, and nothing still worked.I also tried making a windows repair usb flash drive which didn't show any results.I tried swapping hard drives which also didn't work too.I am running out of options. Please help ASAP. Thank you in advance.

Motherboard: GA H61M-DS2
CPU: I5 3570k
GPU: GTX 960 4gb
RAM: 12gb Crucial
Case: Corsair Carbide 500r

Did the windows repair usb flash drive allow you using the mouse and/or keyboard?

If not, try using PS2 keyboard or USB-PS2 adapter for USB keyboard(?). If you're using a PS2 keyboard try a USB or PS2 to USB adapter for the keyboard.

If swapping HDDs didn't work, the issue is BIOS related... see if PS2 input devices help..

Reset the BIOS as follows:
1. Remove the AC Power cable,
2. remove the battery,
3. remove the BIOS jumper from contacts 1 and 2 and move to contacts 2 and 3
4. press the power button and hold it pressed for a minute
5. Wait 10 minutes before putting the jumper back as on contacts 1 and 2, battery back on, and reattaching the AC cable, and try booting the computer.

If 10 minutes doesn't help, do a second BIOS reset following the same method but instead of 5 minutes, allow it a full hour to reset.

I reset CMOS and tried using a ps2 keyboard. The ps2 keyboard got detected but it won't boot into bios. It's like the motherboard knows it's there but is ignoring it.

Looks like the BIOS is bad... Strange thing is the Gigabyte dual bios should have repaired automatically... I suppose everything is new, so the possibility of other hardware causing it is low?... (Bad PSU, RAM, Expansion cards, bent socket pins) If all is new and you've checked or know the socket pins are ok, try the following two options to try and restore the BIOS... a third option would be RMAing the board.

1. You could try forcing the repair manually before RMAing the board
[GUIDE] Forcing backup BIOS on Gigabyte motherboards.

2. Or see if one last BIOS reset works. Reset it as adviced before, but this time let it resetting overnight or from 10 to 12 hours.

I reset the CMOS and it finally worked. I was able to get into bios, but it takes me to a black screen with a blinking cursor. Iam able to launch from a repair disc, but I don't want to format my pc. When I go to reset but keep specific files it says my hard drive is locked. I don't know how to fix that .

From the repair disk the first thing to try is the Automatic/Startup Repair, from the screen where you either select Install Windows or Repair the Computer. Also see other possible solution in this page. I'm guessing the blinking cursor is due to corrupt boot files. The Startup Repair can repair the registry, boot files, or system files so there's a good chance it will repair whatever is causing the problem.

Try the System File Checker (SFC /Scannow) from the Windows disk... missing or corrupted system files should be refreshed from the Windows Disk.
If SFC doesn't help, try the Bootrec commands to repair the bootloader... Full instructions in the neosmart page.
