so i just upgraded my computer today i got a i5 6600k cpu, a MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard and 16 gb ram added to my computer and i already have a gtx 960 gpu. playing games like h1z1 and dead by daylight it seems like my fps has not been upgraded at all and im still running the same fps when i had my amd fx 6300 cpu on the same settings. anybody know why this would be and why im not running any higher frames. and ive seen youtube videos of people with the exact same gpu and cpu and they're running over 60 fps constantly on ultra settings which im not even playing on. im running under 60 around building in h1z1 so im super confused. HELP PLEASE

Solution
Did you do a fresh install of Windows, when you made the switch? Did you verify that temps are good? Do you have the latest driver updates, from Nvidia?

thats the thing though when i upgraded my gpu originally, nothing increased on h1z1 and that makes sense considering its a cpu game however, i have a better cpu and mb than my friend that is playing h1z1 and he is able to run ultra settings on get 60fps and mine hasn't changed at all nothing has changed since my upgrades
