Hi! I've seen/read on some Youtube Vids about this performance per dollar thing. I want to know how to calculate. I have bought some second hand parts from different people. I have the following in my rig:

***1 USD = 48.32 Phil. Peso

Motherboard: Foxconn G31MXP-K ( bought it for 14.49U USD )
Processor: Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66ghz oc to 2.80ghz (22.77USD)
HSF: Ice edge mini fs (6.83USD)
RAM: 2x2GB Kingmax ddr2 800mhz oc to 5-5-5-12 (20.70 USD pair)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 560 (51.74 USD)
PSU: 450w **Much better than a generic one** (10.76USD)
Case,Mouse, Keyboard, USB HUB ( 13.28 USD )

THANKS!

Solution
It's a reltaive term. Say a GPU costs x and produces y FPS in a game, while GPU2 cost a and produces b FPS in the same game. You divide y by x and b by a and compare the results to see which has more performance per dollar.

Any benchmark or actual game will do, so long as you have results from others running teh same benchmarks or games to compare. That's why i said it's relative.
