Hey, I need some diagnosticians please.
I've got a 2TB WD HDD running inside my computer as a secondary drive to my 480 GB SSD that my system boots off of. Just the day before yesterday I saw that my drive wasn't showing on my file explorer. I opened up disk management and rescanned and refreshed the disks several times and didn't show, so I restarted my computer and went into the boot menu where it wasn't recognized either. I have used several different SATA cables and port, and have even tried a different power cable coming from my supply with all attempts to no avail.
Please, does anyone have any insight at all into how I can get this drive to work even as little as to retrieve the info I have on it?

Hi there Avaraelion,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

You've done some decent troubleshooting. So, you've tried the drive on another SATA port with different power and SATA cables right?
Is the drive even powering up? I believe that you can even attach it to another system.

In case the issue persists though, you have a couple of options:
- Just RMA the drive, in case it is under warranty. You can contact our Support or the place you got it from: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=GixO3y
- You will need to contact a data recovery company, if you have something really important stored over there. The drive won't be accessible by software tools, if it is not recognized even by BIOS. You can check...
