A friend recently sold me his msi 970 for 50 bucks, it works perfectly fine but i have the msi 970 100 million edition could you sli them together?

Trying to fogure out if I should buy a new motherboard that has 2 slots for graphics cards.

Instead of buying a new motherboard and SLI bridge , consider selling the two GTX970's and buying a single GTX 1070.

On Passmark, a single GTX 970 has an average 3D mark of 11,561 while a GTX 970 averages 8,644. The highest 3D score for SLI 2X GTX 970 on an i7-4790K @ 4.8GHz is 11,072. If each GTX is worth $140-160 that's a $300 budget, and adding the costs savings of avoiding a new motherboard (which is a lot of work to change too) will more than buy the GTX 1070- and be...
