I'm running a x99-a/usb3.1 mobo and originally had 4x16gb vengeance lpx 64gb sticks that was giving me code 53 because unbeknownst to me it wasn't compatible with the board. Went out and purchased 8x8gb vengeance lpx 2166gb sticks (CMK64GX4M8A2133C13) which I've triple verified is on ASUS' compatibility list and still getting code 53. All the ram is clicked down and pushed in all the way on both sides (if I pushed any harder the mobo would probably crack). Any ideas on how I can trouble shoot the issue? Much appreciated.

It might be the OS, or some form of software issue, if it is happening before the pc boots into the OS...

Add a single stick of RAM to the slot closest to the motherboard. Try and boot up the system.
If the #1 slot works, add a 2nd stick into the #3.
If this works, put the other two sticks into the remaining slots and give it a try.

On this mobo the 3rd slot from the right (2nd in on the right side of the processor) is the one to use if you're only using one stick of ram. I tried it with one and I'm still getting error 53, replaced it with another stick, same thing. Does this mean the problem lies with the motherboard?

It might be the OS, or some form of software issue, if it is happening before the pc boots into the OS, then send in the board for a refund.
