2-3 days ago Win 7 Showed "some serious problem had been detected" and it needs to restart and check for it. When restarting, it took a lot of time on a disk check and after that a black screen appeared that stayed for ever. After that I changed many sata cable. Nothing worked, Installing a new hard disk with win 7 in it, then the defective hard disk shows, in my computer window, but no information, when click on it, it says can't access the drive(this report also takes some time).

1. No abnormal sound
2. No excessive heating
3. Only the normal motor running vibration.

I Just want to know which part of the hard disk is damaged, The circuit board or something internal..??

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, @MayukhBhakat!

I'd strongly recommend you go to Disk management in Windows and check how your old HDD appears there. You mentioned that you have tried many SATA cables with the drive, but I'd also recommend swapping the SATA port on the motherboard. If you have access to another PC, try plugging the old HDD there as well to see how it will get recognized. Instead of running CHKDSK, I'd strongly recommend using the drive manufacturer's brand-specific diagnostic utility or a third-party alternative and see what is the health and SMART status.
Have you tried taking ownership of the drive in Windows as well?

As soon as you can access your data, make sure you back up...

As soon as you can access your data, make sure you back up everything from the HDD somewhere else!

Keep me posted with the troubleshooting & let me know if you have additional questions!

At the time of changing many cables I also changed the connection between all 4 ports available on my pcs mother board. But it didn't worked too. Just now I checked with a hdd health monitoring software. The software says "S.M.A.R.T. error.." I will check the defective Hard Drive on other pc too, but I think as there is smart error it will not work there too( But I will check)..

Sir Please tell me if it's possible: Which part of the hard disk is damaged
1. the green board fixed on hard disk
2. Or some thing in side the board.
So that I can take decision on what type of technician should I go for. (Best technician available locally or direct to a professional organization having much more experience)

I don't want to repair the hard disk, by my self.. My hard disk have a lot of impotent data in it. I don't want to risk it any further damage by me..

Hey there again, @MayukhBhakat!

Unfortunately, mechanical hard drives are pretty sensitive. The damage could be logical or physical. If there is a SMART error, it might be too many bad sectors, which is a logical damage that is dangerous to the files, too. There's no way to determine which exact sectors are damaged and what kind of data is stored there. THE best bet on recovering your files is definitely a professional data recovery assistance!
In case the corruption is physical, they have the tech-savvy experts & the specific lab environment to operate on it in attempts to retrieve your files. If you do such attempts by yourself, you could potentially do more harm, than good, really!

I'd recommend you get in touch with the nearest data recovery company or ask your HDD manufacturer's customer support for any specific company referrals in your region. Either way, don't do this by yourself.

Let me know if you have more questions or concerns.
