So here are my specs. I built the computer myself. (first build)

MSI z170a M5 gaming
i7 6700k
gtx 1060 gaming 6b
2tb hdd
250gb ssd
watercooled coolermaster
Monitor: BENQ RL 2755 27' running HDMI

games seem to be running fine.. sort of. i tried 3D Mark Pro on steam and all i got was 25 fps and really bad results.. but WoW runs fine at 100fps? wth..

THE ISSUE:

Youtube videos, even though it says 1080p it looks more like 240.. it just doesn't look as it should.
images in google image, (the image before you click it) they're all slightly lower quality.

the cinematic trailer for WoW was really low quality. BUT THE GAME RUNS FINE!

its hard to describe.

now i have no cd drive so i went on the msi website and downloaded pretty much alll of the drivers.

got all the drivers for my bios and all.

Then i went on the nvedia website and downloaded all the drivers for my gpu. got all mods and stuff for the gtx range.

i looked for drivers for my screen and there was nothing.

I made sure all the hardware was being recognized by the computer. everything seems in place!

i even re-installed the gpu update twice..

I've updated windows as much as i can.
I have direct x 12

i also have NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! please help!

all the best. Thanks everyone!

BenQ XL Series lineup of high-end, full-featured gaming monitors capture a premium pedigree when compared to more general, jack-of-all-trades displays.

While the XL Series is poised as a high-end option for competitive PC gaming, the RL Series is intended for use with game consoles specifically, however you can still use it as a monitor.

Im facing the same problem, I upgraded my rig and all the content related to display looks shitty 1080p looks like 240p, I have asked everyone everywhere the conclusion that I have drawn is that every motherboard has its own unique display.no mtter how much update drivers tamper with settings it stays shitty.
