Hi Toms Hardware I am looking for a 24 inch or 27 inch monitor that plays games well and looks awesome i want a 1ms monitor as they are the fastest i am buying the GTX 1060 6GB To replace my Dinosour Power Hungry GTX 580 1.5GB so need some good suggestions preferably £200 or under. I would get a 144hz screen but they seem expensive if they are worth it i'm not sure. Going from a crappy 19 Inch DVI 1280x1024 screen so a new monitor is required for the GTX 1060 6GB :-D

Please help me with my journey for a new monitor i play fast paced car games and shooters

ASUS VS278H, FHD (1920x1080) Gaming Monitor, 1ms, HDMI, D-Sub, 27 inch

Asus VG248QE 24-inch 3D LED Monitor - Black (1920x1080, 80000000:1, 144 Hz, 1ms, DVI Display Port, HDMI)

My biggest question is is it worth sacrificing 3 inches for a 144hz monitor as i hear these are great to game on i would put a tiny bit more if they are worth it and the 3D!

Thanks

Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 144Hz Monitor ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Monitor: Acer K272HULbmiidp 27.0" 60Hz Monitor ($270.98 @ Newegg)

Your 2 best budget options. You really don't want 1080p on a 27" monitor unless you plan on sitting way back. The pixel fill size will make a 27" look like crap. For 1080p, 24" is tops. For 1440p,27" is perfect, but the sacrifice on a budget monitor is the refresh. For 144Hz, you'd need to really bump the budget, over $500 for decent, and a gtx1060 will be next to useless, you'll need a 1070 at least.
