Your integrated graphics is likely to perform about the same as a GT710.

Some games like strategy sims and mmo tend to be cpu limited.
fast action games will be graphics limited.

For any sort of action gaming, a better graphics card is in order.
A gt730(64 bit version) would be the minimum.

If you already have all the parts, try your games and see how you do.
If you lower the resolution or settings and you get an improvement in fps, then your cpu will likely support a stronger graphics card.

Latest games? Nothing AAA. The GT 710 isn't a GPU for gaming, just a basic one to show the display, if you either don't have integrated graphics or can't use the integrated graphics for some reason. It's about the speed of a good GPU from a decade ago, so you should generally be OK with games released before 2010 or so and a bit worse off on games for a few years after.
