Hello friends,

I am planning to bump up the memory on my PC. Currently i have a single 4GB RAM from G.Skill Ripjawas. I ran both HWiNFO and Speccy, they show below results:
Model Part No: F3-12800CL9-4GBXL
Memory speed: 800.0 MHz (DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800)
Timing: 11-11-11-28

I found 2 models similar to my RAM which i have listed below but the models are listed as "F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL". In addition to that i am not able to validate their memory speed and timing specifications. So need some help in buying. Will there be a problem or performance issues if memory speed and timings are different in 2 sticks? Please advice.

Thanks,

Thanks guys. I'll pick up a 8 gig stick. Just wondering if 4x2 sticks has any real advantage over a single 8GB stick. Thoughts...!?

After some research, I shortlisted G.Skill Sniper and RipjawsX. Which one do you recommend or which one will work better with 4th gen Intel i3 processor (Haswell)???

G.Skill Sniper DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC DRAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR)

G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC DRAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)

Thanks.
