I have an I5 6600K cooled by Cooler Master 212X and Gigabyte Z170MD3H I am planning to buy a GTX1060 AMP edition. My SMPS is corsair's CX500. I wanted to ask if overlooking my processor and GPU would be a risk

Solution
Doable, yes. But the Corsair CX isn't a high quality PSU. The CX line is their low-end. And the 500W isn't much headroom for OC'ing both the CPU and GPU. The 38A/456W +12V rail is a bit light. Might get some voltage drop that could ruin your OC.
