Hi, I want to do some pentesting work but I also want to be able to right up documents and VMware so Kali is out of the option. Specs are Intel p8600 and 4gb ram.

You should be able to install Libre Office in Kali.

Yes you can but I rather have real firefox not icewell and UbuntU and Arch have a gui I like too so
