touchpad working but its driver gone

plz help me I have lenovoz51 laptop recently I found that synaptics pointing device is suddenly gone from my laptop I cant find it anywhere no tab not under mouse options although my touchpad is working I tried to install synaptics from web it installed successfully but still its not showing up anywhere
note- after installing synaptics it didn't asked me to restart as it should do .

ok i solved my problem the next day I was searching on web of similar problem and in the Microsoft community I found that windows maybe installing a new driver for me so I head to my settings windows update and there were an option to install synaptic pointing device I installed it and everything is same again
