Move a NAS drive to PC?

I have a WD MyCloud EX2 and want to just lift one of the drives and put it into a newly built PC, is that ok to do? The WD is configured RAID and I just want it use it as a stand alone with existing files/directories etc...

you can definitely use the drive in your PC, but i doubt the existing files/directories will be available once you remove it from the NAS (depends on the RAID configuration, try it and see).
you may have to reformat the drive and start fresh.
