I have an asus p5ql pro motherboard and my video card got stuck in the pcie slot. The left side is out but the right side where the latch is, is stuck inside. I cant undo the latch its stuck. My computer is 10 years old. My video card died so I was trying to remove it.

I cant put it back in either. The motherboard starts moving when I try to yank on the gpu so im afraid to move it now. I also cant unplug the pci cord the plugs into the gpu. Its all stuck.

Solution
first put the card back down all the way if you can. then try to undo the latch. if the card is at an angle they can hang up.

also are you trying to push the latch down correct? as according to the picture I found you should be pushing the latch away of the ram sticks (down toward the bottom of the case not down toward the motherboard)

also is the pci cord still hung on the tab you might have to get a small screw driver to lift it slightly to get it to lift. sometimes the plastic thumb push bends and wont get the locking latch up far enough.
