Do i need a graphics card for my AMD Athlon X4 860K to run

I am planning on building my first pc and i was wondering if my AMD Athlon ii X4 860K needs a graphics card to run. I know that it doesn't have integrated graphics but does that mean that it won't run,
if it doesn't not work without a graphics card, Which graphics cards are recommended for a cheap gaming


Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WiFi

Crucial BallistixSport 2x4GB 1600MHz

Case:Cooler Master Elite 110

EVGA 500W White

Yes you will need a graphics card if the CPU doesn't have integrated graphics. What is your budget?

EDIT: Have you already purchased these items? We (Toms HW) might be able to recommend some better hardware if not..

Wow, well for 350 USD you could get a very powerful GPU, but it would be bottlenecked severely by your CPU. An Athlon II X4 is a very weak gaming CPU. Anything more than a GTX 950 / RX 460 / R9 270 / R9 270X will be bottlenecked pretty badly. I would recommend one of those for you.
