Can I join multiple video cables into one?

I'm having problems cable tidying. (AKA glass desk, triple monitors, and no where to put big ugly PC)

I'd like to know if I could combine my 3 video outputs (HDMI, VGA and DVI) into one cable? I've heard stuff about Display port/Thunderbolt doing something like that, is it possible? Like 2 splitters at either end? They're only going to 1080p 60hz screens.

If anyone knows how to do something similar with power cables too, that'd be great. I have limited hidden space to work with, so an extension lead doesn't work, plus that leaves a bunch of spare cable to wrap up and hide.

No, you can't combine video cables at one end and split them out at the other. DP lets you daisy-chain monitors, but only DP-capable monitors.
For power cables, can you run one heavy-duty cable to the machine area and then use a multi-plug?
