The best you can afford is going to be the limiting factor so we need more info.
More cores actually doesn't get more performance after a point. Like ps doesn't care much for more than 6 with many functions actually being single or lightly threaded. Revit wants less stronger cores with many functions being single threaded, just the rendering wants more. I've never heard of luminous unless you meant lumion and google couldn't find anything either. I've never dealt with capturereality but it looks like it scales well so more would work there. Best would probably be a workstation with less more powerful cores and a separate farm.
