I have a G1 x99 gaming mb by gigabyte
5830k intel procossor
my 8 gb current ram is gskill 2400 2x4gb
I am trying to upgrade to 32 gb 4x8gb also 2400 , I bought patriot viper 4 channel ram but my system will not boot up after installing . the mother board has a led read out that changes numbers as it boots but it stops at 60 every time then restarts over and over again. I have re-seated the memory several time but it just does the same thing. when I put old memory back in it starts up with no problem. any help would be appreciated.
