Everything oversized when tv is connected to computer as second screen

As soon as I turn my TV and AV receiver on, both my monitor and my TV display everything oversized, turn the tv off and it's back to normal. The resolutions are all the same, it started after the most recent windows 10 update

I'm using a GTX 960 and can find nothing in the control panel

theyre both on the correct resolution, nothing has changed settings wise from what i can see

It only happens when the displays are duplicated
