I tried overclocking my 980ti Classified to around +88 offset in PrecisionX by Nvidia. It worked for about a day fine. Next day is when the problem started to happen. My card has had a very low Clock speed since than. 135Mhz not in game, and when in game its around 405Mhz. The temp never gets too high. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I tried to be careful with the overclocking, using Benchmark Valley and only doing a little, but clearly I messed something up. Thanks in advance <3

It seems to stop after rebooting yes, but when I get back on and play, lets say Forza Horizon 3 for a little bit, all a sudden Ill start lagging even at 36 fps cap. I check and my clock speeds are at 405. I close the game and they drop to like 145 I want to say. I just reinstalled drivers and it fixes it temporarily. A clean install btw. And itll come back randomly even when Im not messing with the clock speeds. I

Sorry bout the late reply. But I think so, it started doing it again today when I opened PrecisonX. 500mhz clockspeed. I do remember setting a profile to launch with windows with my overclock, but it seems like it already removed itself.
