I just wondering if adding a dust filter to a CPU fan (like hyper 212 evo) would affect on something. like temperatures or other stuff. Im just curious. I build my first pc, 5 months ago, and Im upgrading to 960 to a 1070. and since that Im going to cleaned up as well. and the thought of cleaning the dust filter on a CPU came to my head.
(also doing cable management to improve what I did back when I builded)

BTW could anyone recommend me a good extra CPU fan for push pull using hyper 212 evo
also 120mm exhaust fans (im using the ones that came with my case zalman z9 neo) Intake I have Fractal Design HF14-BK
Thanks for the help

An internal dust filter would probably harm temperatures more than anything else.
You need to stop dust from getting into the case, not into a heatsink. A filter would block airflow just like dust would.

There are many fans you can use, Phanteks is a great choice, as is Noctua, but that is far from my area of expertise.
Generally though, a second fan on the EVO wont do much good. You would be better off putting that money to a new cooler instead if you wanted lower temps.

Better to use the dust filter to the case fans and vents on the case. Then overall dust gathers inside case would reduce. That's the way to go.

But if you really want to do that, when you use a dust pad the airflow will be reduced a bit. But with dust catching up the pad, it'll reduce further. So if you are going to keep it there, then it's not recommended.
