Ive been posting my problem a few times but Ive had to fix this issue. I bought a DIY computer 5 months ago. However since then, my computer freezes randomly without any trace in the event viewer. The only way to fix this is through holding the power button. It occurs while im watching youtube vids, playing games, and on one occasion, idling. I monitor my temps and they are all ok.

Recently I brought it to a repair shop. After about 45 mins of testing, the man said that there was no issue with the parts, but if the freezing still occurs it might be due to a faulty GPU.

Yesterday my computer froze again while playing games. When it froze, I asked my friend if I could still be seen online in the game, suspecting if that if its the gpu's problem then I should be still in the game itself. However, he said that I had gone offline.

Any idea which component of my computer is faulty? Im suspecting either the CPU or GPU has an issue.

My Specs:
MSI Z170 SLI Plus
Sapphire R9 390
Intel Core i5 6500
G.Skills Ripjaws V 8GB RAM
Cooler Master V650
