Hey guys , looking to upgrade my setup but not sure what is more important to replace to obtain the best experience. I have no idea if i need to replace my CPU aswell in case i get a better GPU like the 1060 , 1070 ecc...
Here is what i have now :

CPU : i5 4670k
GPU : nvidia GTX 770 2gb
RAM : 2X4gb
Power supply is 800w
OS : Windows 8.1

Also using a regular oldish monitor 1920x1080 720p 60hz , that could be replaced too.
Got around 800 - 1k euros i can spend on it .
Thanks in advance

No, your CPU will be plenty good enough for a while. You could upgrade to any GPU and it would not bottleneck.

If you do upgrade your monitor, consider the fact that you need a more powerful GPU to run games on it. 4k will need a GPU 4x more powerful then 1080p, and at the moment, there aren't really any reasonably priced GPUs good enough for that unless you want to spend ~1500euros. I recommend you stick to your current one, and instead use anti-aliasing to make up for the resolution.

Your processor is very powerful, it will not need to be replaced. Is your monitor a 1080p or 720p? A 1080p monitor is 1920x1080 while a 720p is 1280x720. May i ask what power supply model you have? You could buy a GTX 1070 and upgrade to a 1440p monitor, or a 1080p 144hz monitor.

Yeah my bad it is 1080p , as for power supply i have a AEROCOOL 800w Strike-X series modular ATX 2.3V .
what about my RAM tho , should i get another one of the same type to get 16 gigs?
So far thanks for the answers i will not replace my CPU and get a 1070 for GPU , got any ideas on a good monitor?
