Long story short I got CORSAIR CX750 had horrible coil wine so I sent it back for a refund and ordered this psu

But now I get the same weird coil wine while gaming or just using the pc for basic use like browsing the net,

It can't be that I got tow bad PSUs?
Is there somthing I can do to solve this issue?

OS: Windows 10

I got the card off eBay good condition, it runs smoothly

The coil wine always comes from the PSU, I know this becuase I opne the case while the system is running and do an ear check, the noise is coming from the PSU

Its actually getting slightly worse and worse as the day progresses. I already went a week without using my pc beacuse I had to rma the previous card.

I'm having the same problem with my XFX Core Pro 650W.

I upgraded to a RX 480 yesterday and I'm having some coil whine while playing games. The coil whine comes basically from the PSU. The GPU makes some coil whine but is barely audible (only with the ear at 3cm from the GPU), but the PSU make a huge coil whine audible from more than 50cm.

I don't think there is a solution for this :(

Warranty is over (almost 4 years passed). Can it cause problems to my GPU?

Everything is working fine but it's a bit annoying. I had some GPU coil whine (only GPU) with my previous GPU, but with this one it's much more noticeable. There is some moments where the coil whine comes from the GPU, but for example, on heaven 90% of the coil whine comes from the PSU. Take a look at this audio sample from the PSU running CS:GO at 200fps.

This was recorded with the microphone near the back of the PSU, outside the case and only happens when gaming.

hmm. Got 2 XFX PSUs none of these had this issue. seems to be a streak of bad luck
but you might wanna check again, the PSU has a certain sound box that can be misleading
also you might wanna play around with the screws a bit, tightening them or loosening them a little bit
maybe they're just too tight/loose and cause resonance
